We collect information you choose to provide, such as profile information, messages and prompts, optional voice transcripts, reflections, check ins, goals, memories, confirmed Companion Profile information, and uploaded content. We may also collect account, subscription, device, notification, and limited usage information needed to operate and secure the service.
Nori Labs uses information to provide requested companion responses and AI functionality, maintain memory continuity, operate connected features, deliver notifications, manage accounts and subscriptions, prevent abuse, and improve reliability. Nori does not intentionally include private user content in analytics event properties.
Nori uses AI generated responses and pattern analysis. AI Processing Consent is requested before information is sent for AI processing. Opening an AI powered screen, viewing this policy, or accepting the Terms does not grant that consent.
With your permission, Nori Labs may send information you submit through AI powered features to OpenAI, which processes the information on Nori Labs’ behalf to generate Nori’s AI responses and related functionality. Depending on the feature and your choices, this may include messages and prompts, optional voice recordings or transcripts, reflections and check ins, goals and memories, confirmed Companion Profile information, relevant conversation context, uploaded content submitted for an AI feature, and limited authorized connected service summaries. Nori sends only information selected as relevant to the request, subject to your settings and permissions.
You may decline AI Processing Consent. AI powered features that require OpenAI will then be unavailable, while supported non AI portions of Nori remain available. You may review or withdraw consent under Privacy and Safety. Withdrawal blocks future AI requests; it does not automatically delete prior conversations, memories, connected service permissions, or your account. You may separately delete data or your account using the available controls.
When you authorize a connected service, Nori may use limited relevant summaries from Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Apple Health, or Apple Music when needed for your request and permitted by your connection settings. Nori does not send every connected category for every request. Paused, disconnected, deleted, or unauthorized sources are excluded from new prompt context. Raw Health samples and broad raw listening history are not intended for general AI prompts.
Nori Labs may store conversations, check ins, memories, profile information, and derived summaries in your Nori account to provide continuity. Stored Nori data is separate from AI Processing Consent. You may use available memory, imported data, and account deletion controls or contact support. Account deletion is designed to delete user owned application data and the authentication account, subject to limited records that must be retained for security, legal, or payment obligations.
For eligible adult accounts, Nori records Stardust awards, deductions, adjustments, balances, digital collectible ownership, and equipped item choices. Date of birth is used to enforce adult eligibility. Stardust ledger and ownership records may be retained where needed for account integrity, fraud prevention, auditing, disputes, and legal obligations.
Nori Labs uses service providers for authentication, hosting, database storage, notifications, payments, diagnostics, AI processing, and voice delivery. OpenAI acts as Nori’s AI processing provider. When you use voice playback, Nori Labs may send Nori’s generated response text, not your voice recording, to ElevenLabs to produce audio on Nori Labs’ behalf. Service providers are expected to protect information through contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to their roles. This statement describes Nori Labs’ expectations and does not create guarantees beyond applicable agreements and law.
You may review or withdraw AI Processing Consent, manage connected services, request memory or imported data deletion, change notifications, request data access, or delete your account. Some limited information may be retained where required for security, legal, fraud prevention, or payment records.
